Sacramental Life

The school and parish work closely together to bring children preparing to receive the Sacraments of Reconcilation, Holy Communion and Confirmation closer to God.

Confirmation

Last year, our Year 6 children received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Sunday 13th March 2022.  Children were Confirmed by Bishop Stephen Wright.   Plans for this year's Confirmation are in progress and preparations will begin soon. 

First Holy Communion

The school and parish work together to prepare our Year 3 children to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and our Year 4 children to receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion. We follow the sacramental programme, 'I want to make my home in you', which is a thorough, visual catechetical course designed to deepen understanding of Reconciliation and the Eucharist for both the children preparing to receive these very special sacraments and their parents. The sessions are jointly run by Fr. Julian and school staff, in a collaborative, planned program to ensure that our children are thoroughly prepared to enter into their special relationship with Jesus through the Holy Eucharist.
