At St Joseph’s Catholic Academy, children learn that they must put their relationship with God at the forefront. It is by knowing, loving and trusting in God that children will be able to achieve their God given potential. We are committed to nurturing our children to be their very best self so that they can live their best life. Children are taught and enabled to spend time with God in prayer and to trust in Him so that achievements which seem impossible, become possible.
Our mission statement - ‘With God, all things are possible’ (Matthew 19:26) – captures our desire to follow the example of Christ in welcoming, nurturing and developing the individual child as a unique and precious gift, capable of achieving well. We promote the Christian values of love, respect, tolerance and forgiveness, as revealed to us through the life of Jesus Christ.
St Joseph's is proud to be a part of the St Gabriel the Archangel Multi Academy Trust. The trust mission statement "Forming Christ-centred pilgrims of hope with kind hearts, questioning minds, a thirst for knowledge and a hunger for justice" supports and is supported by our school mission statement. Our patron saints, St Joseph and St Gabriel give us an inspirational example of trusting God and putting God first in order to make possible things which seem impossible.
At St Joseph's, we learn that:

- God calls us to ask questions as we grow in faith and wisdom.

Our Aims:
The community of St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy strives to serve as a witness to Our Lord Jesus Christ and to the Catholic faith at all times.
We aim for all of our school community to:
- Know that with God all things are possible
- Know that they have been created by God and are called by God to love and to be loved
- Be confident and comfortable to be a witness to their faith
- Be lifelong followers of Christ
- Have a strong moral compass which guides them be a positive influence of kindness, compassion and service
- Grow spiritually, morally, academically and socially using these their God given talents to make a positive contribution to our common home
- Live out the Gospel values showing value and respect for all
- Leave each stage of their learning journey with happy memories, lasting friendships and a desire to fulfil their hopes and dreams throughout their lives.
